Oprah American Idol 2012 Mentor Top 07 Live Show Performances Jessica Sanchez recap American Idol is back on tonight as the top seven competitors go head-to-head once again for America's votes. As we've previously revealed, the theme for this week is "Now & Then" and we've got some spoilers for you! In case you've missed last week's dramatic elimination episode, you can read our full recap here. In a nutshell last week, it came down to being between Jessica Sanchez and Elise Testone. Elise was moved to safety and Jessica was left on the stage to sing her "save me" song. The judges rushed the stage to reveal that they would be using their only season save on her.
